■The MG8 is a compact, lightweight, and highly portable high-performance grip strobe that is 280g lighter than the popular MG10 by downsizing the head. (975g → 715g, excluding batteries) This is a compact, highly functional grip strobe that is easy to carry. ■Equipped with a highly heat-resistant quartz light tube. Maximum guide number 60 Equipped with the same quartz light tube as the MG10. It is designed to withstand heat generated by continuous light emission at full power, so you can concentrate on shooting without missing the shutter timing. The maximum guide number is 60 (ISO100/200mm). ■Compatible with commercially available lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (26650 type) In addition to the battery cartridge for 8 AA batteries (alkaline or nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries), a battery cartridge that can also be used with commercially available lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (26650 type) is included. The charge time at full light emission can be reduced to 1.6 seconds. ■All operations are performed wirelessly from the Air10s. All operations are performed from the NAS (*1) commander Air10s, and the settings for light emission mode and light emission amount are communicated with the MG8 via radio waves. ■Removable magnetic sliding zoom cover Adopts external auto zoom. Slide the magnetic zoom cover to control the beam angle automatically or manually. If you remove the zoom cover, you can attach it to a commercially available clip-on strobe holder. ■Open mode (*2) Supports the "open mode" function that allows connection to multiple NAS commanders. Communication is possible without pairing. ■Modeling light function A dimmable LED light is built into the light emission head. It can be lit continuously for about 4 hours with a maximum output of 8W. (*3) ■"Wireless release" function that allows the shutter to be released with the strobe</strong><br/><br/> When using this unit with the Air10s and connecting the remote shutter cable included with the Air10s to the camera, the camera can be wirelessly released by pressing the shutter button on the front of the grip. ■Easy firmware updates by yourself Equipped with a micro SD card slot (*4). You can update the firmware by yourself. *1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is our own standard. It is not compatible with radio-controlled wireless systems from other companies, such as Canon. *2 Can be used when both the NAS commander and the flash have the open mode function. *3 Varies depending on the battery used. *4 Micro SD card is not included.
