■Highly functional NAS commander

A commander that can remotely control NAS strobes. You can remotely control various settings such as light intensity adjustment and beam angle in TTL auto/manual.

The display panel uses a color LCD that is easy to see both outdoors during the day and in dark places. The dial-type operation section has an independent group selection button, allowing intuitive operation.

Once you have set up the pairing, you can use different mount types of strobes in TTL auto or manual mode.*1

In addition, it has obtained the Technical Approval Mark, so you can use it with confidence within Japan.

The locking mechanism is simple and uses the popular one-push lock method. It is small and lightweight, so it does not put a strain on the camera when attached.

*1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is Nissin's own standard. It cannot be directly paired with products that use different wireless standards, such as camera manufacturer's original flashes, so a separately sold AirR is required for pairing. (AirR is only sold for Canon, Nikon, and Sony.)

■ Expand your shooting possibilities with a communication distance of up to 100m

Equipped with functions such as TTL, manual flash, and high-speed sync (FP flash), it achieves a maximum communication distance of 100m.
It allows for a wide range of settings and stable operation in a variety of shooting environments, enabling creative and stress-free shooting.

*The maximum communication distance is an actual measured value and does not guarantee the actual communication distance.

■1/3EV step, minimum 1/256 output, more delicate light control

Both TTL and manual flash modes support dimming in 1/3EV steps. In manual flash mode, you can also set the minimum flash to 1/256. This more precise light control expands the scope of photographic expression.

Of course, if the model is NAS compatible, it can also control conventional models that do not support dimming in 1/3EV steps.

*1/3EV step and 1/256 output require a compatible strobe and firmware. For non-compatible models, the step width will be the same as the Air1 (TTL mode: 1/2EV, manual mode: 1EV step) and dimming range (manual mode: 1/128 to 1/1 light output).

■ Equipped with a microSD card slot for firmware updates air10s_microsd
Equipped with a microSD card slot for firmware updates. Firmware files can be downloaded from our website via the Internet, allowing users to update the firmware themselves.

The update process is simple; just insert the card containing the firmware file into the unit and turn it on.
The microSD card supports capacities up to 32GB (microSDHC card).

■"TTL memory function" that allows you to copy the light output in TTL mode to manual mode

Equipped with a "TTL memory function" that copies the light output when fired in TTL mode to the output in manual firing mode.
You can first set the general light output in TTL mode, then switch to manual mode to fine-tune, allowing you to quickly determine the optimum light output.

■ Up to 8 groups can be managed, and TTL and manual can be mixed.
The lighting groups are the basic groups A to D. A ~ D A total of eight groups can be managed, including the advanced group. The Di700A, i60A, and AirR can control up to three groups, A, B, and C, but the MG8, MG10, MG60, MG80 Pro, and future products can control a fourth group, D, and A ~ D It is planned to be equipped with an advanced group.

The Advanced Group supports a mixture of TTL mode and manual flash mode (Mixed Mode), as well as "Open Mode" which allows multiple Air10s to control a single flash without pairing, meeting the various demands of professionals.

■Remote shutter terminal

air10s_cable

Equipped with a "remote shutter terminal" that allows you to remotely release the camera shutter when combined with a compatible flash. A dedicated remote shutter cable with a 2.5mm stereo mini plug is included. (Photo is for Canon)
*The remote shutter function is available on the MG10 and MG8 (as of March 2019).

■High-speed sync, rear curtain sync function

You can set high-speed sync (FP flash) and rear curtain sync from the dial on the Air10s or from the camera menu. The rear curtain sync function allows you to express the movement of the subject as a trail of light, allowing you to take photos with a flowing, moving image.

*Canon cameras do not support rear-curtain sync due to the camera body specifications. For Sony cameras, models that have a "Wireless (WL)" option in the "Flash Mode" menu screen cannot use rear-curtain sync because "Rear-curtain sync" and "Wireless (WL)" cannot be selected at the same time.

■Modeling light function supported

The Air10s is equipped with a new "modeling light" on/off button.
NAS-compatible strobes with built-in modeling lights make lighting setup easier and more reliable.

*This function can only be used with NAS-compatible strobes that have a built-in modeling light.

■ Comes with a special pouch

air10s_pouch

A special semi-hard pouch is included to protect the device from impacts.

*Pouch specifications may differ from those shown in the photo.
